Exceptional Student Education in a Digital Learning Environment
Digital learning now bridges the gap between regular education programs and special needs programs for exceptional learners. Special population students are no longer limited in their educational options. Come and learn from an FLVS Global expert about how digital learning can fulfill the learning needs of exceptional students. In this interactive session, participants will be equipped with the tools and knowledge necessary to meet the needs of exceptional learners in a digital environment. Participants will explore the educational needs of diverse learners in large and small group discussions, and discover how to implement accommodations and differentiated digital instruction. In addition, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of challenges exceptional learners face in the classroom. With the help of digital resources, participants will emulate the challenges experienced in a regular classroom by an exceptional learner. Furthermore, participants will be furnished with resources and techniques to help special populations succeed in the online classroom.

Pear Deck: A Formative Assessment Tool
In this session, you will learn about Pear Deck, a great tool for one to one and GAFE schools. Pear Deck does offer a free version and premium version but both work for quick formative assessments and allows teachers to make Google Slides and PowerPoints more engaging for students. We will go over the pros and cons of each version as well as allow time for you to create one that you can use in your classroom.
