Blended Learning in Elementary: How do I start?
Blended learning sounds great in theory, but what does it look like in practice? A third grade teacher from Clark County shows exactly how she implemented the station rotation model for math and reading in her elementary classroom. She will also share specific tips and tricks for scheduling stations, managing transitions, investing students in data, and getting more technology into the hands of students.

Pear Deck: A Formative Assessment Tool
In this session, you will learn about Pear Deck, a great tool for one to one and GAFE schools. Pear Deck does offer a free version and premium version but both work for quick formative assessments and allows teachers to make Google Slides and PowerPoints more engaging for students. We will go over the pros and cons of each version as well as allow time for you to create one that you can use in your classroom.

Happy Grader: Cut Your Grading Time in Half!
Happy Grader is a semi-automated, computer-based grading program that can assign both full- and partial-credit for ANY type of assessment question, even open-ended responses! After students submit their responses in a Google Form, teachers can use Happy Grader on a PC with Microsoft Excel to interactively create a scoring guide that can then be reapplied and shared with colleagues.
